Korczew leży nad Bugiem w obszarze „ Nadbużańskiego Parku Krajobrazowego”
i „ Zielonych Płuc Polski”. W okolicy znajdują się liczne rezerwaty przyrody.
Powierzchnia Gminy zajmuje obszar 105 km2, a zamieszkuje ją około 3150 osób.
